Retouching - Give New Life to Your Images

We work with companies to create distinctive images of their architecture, products and people. While we love to photograph new and interesting projects, we are equally committed to making all images look their best.

If you have existing digital images in your catalog that aren't consistent with one another in terms of color, density and contrast, we can make those images look compatible together. If you have boxes of film transparencies or negatives that haven't made it to your portfolio, we can scan those images for you to include in your portfolio. We also offer custom retouching restoration to repair damage to prints and artwork.

Contact us for a custom quote on your next retouching, scanning or restoration project.

We celebrate our building's rich history and its residents with the publication of our book
The Bancroft Building and Its People. The former automobile and apparel factory has been transformed into a creative community that we are proud to call home. The book features the Bancroft’s fascinating history along with environmental portraits and stories of 72 artists, business owners and staff. The book is 8.5" square, 164 pages with 198 color photographs, photographed by Lynne Damianos and designed by Lisa Breslow Thompson, available for $49.95.

The art-loving public, of all ages, is invited to this free event featuring artists working in a variety of media – painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, watercolor, digital imagery, mixed media and glass. Meet us in our workspaces and learn more about our art making process. From greeting cards to large-scale pieces of art, there is something for everyone to enjoy and possibly purchase. There is plenty of free parking, and we are only a 10-minute walk from the Framingham Commuter Rail Station.

Please contact individual artists for their schedules. Visit www.FountainStreetStudios.com for more information.

Architectural Photography - Soup to Nuts

Talking with our clients about what they need to put their best image forward is vital to our process. Recently, a client mentioned an idea we think is worth exploring.

Rather than waiting to commission photography after a project is completed, build the photography into the initial budget. Have us join an initial planning meeting with all parties involved (architect, general contractor, owner, subcontractors). Define the photography needed by each party to include progress images along the way (this could include building progress and environmental portraits of team members at work) plus photographs of the finished project.

This plan achieves three significant goals:

  • Each party receives professional, distinctive images suitable for their specific needs
  • Photography is part of the project, and included in the budget
  • A significant multi-party discounted rate creates a win-win for all involved

We would appreciate your feedback about this concept, and look forward to collaborating with you on an upcoming project.

Artists for Humanity EpiCenter

Seeing sustainable architecture with a soul of creativity, powered by the youth of Boston is inspiring to say the least. We recently photographed the Artists EpiCenter for Humanity, a program putting Boston youth to work creating art in a variety of mediums including; painting, photography, graphic design, sculpture, video and screen printing. The mission started in 1991 and recently relocated to a new headquarters in 2004. The first Platinum LEED level building in Boston is home to a truly unique display of working artists in the Fort Point Artists district.
