Fountain Street Open Studios Weekend

Please join us and over 50 other artists for this year's Open Studios. We have extended hours to include Friday evening in addition to Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to architectural and interior images, Lynne will have her personal BuildingScapes and NatureScapes series on display. These are details of the built and natural environments captured in an abstract, vibrant way. They are available in formats ranging from greeting cards to framed enlargements. Refreshments will be served. Enjoy live music courtesy of Jeff Knapp, a classical guitarist in our building. Stop by for an event fit for the whole family!

The art-loving public, of all ages, is invited to this free event featuring artists working in a variety of media – painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, watercolor, digital imagery, mixed media and glass. Meet us in our workspaces and learn more about our art making process. From greeting cards to large scale pieces of art, there is something for everyone to enjoy and possibly purchase. There is plenty of free parking, and we are only a 10 minute walk from the Framingham Commuter Rail Station.

Project - Client Feature

We photograph a variety of commerical office spaces around Boston. It is always a treat to visit a mill building that has been updated with modern HVAC and energy efficient lighting, but still retains the detail and charm of the period. Arched windows, high ceilings, skylights, exposed beams and duct work make the brick building a light and bright work area.

A timber investment firm that works with investors, mills and conversation groups to create a sustainable timber economy occupies this office. Naturally, the office is adorned with unique wood products ranging from giant pinecones to an end grain plywood conference table, reception desk and laminated exposed beams.

Leadership Metrowest - 25th Anniversary

In June, Lynne will graduate from the 25th Leadership MetroWest Academy, a nonprofit community leadership development organization serving MetroWest Massachusetts. She is learning to be a more effective leader engaged in civic leadership and volunteerism. Leadership MetroWest builds a continuous pool of informed and enthusiastic leaders in the municipal, business and nonprofit sectors - an investment in the positive future of our region. There are over 550 alumni.

This year’s program has included a tour of various public and vocational schools, meetings with politicians, tours of a prison and the state house, presentations about the library system and watershed area, team building events and creating and completing a community project – emergency care packages for victims of domestic abuse or loss of domicile.

Leadership Academy alumni are everywhere - influential elected and appointed municipal officials, business and nonprofit leaders, members of boards of directors and community volunteers. For more information, contact Lynne at 508.872.4880.
